Chepang Hill (Siraichuli) 

In these days Chitwan aslo offers “Chepang Hill Trek”- The rapidly developing and emerging trekking experience in the hills. Chepang as an indigenous ethnic group living in the central and southern Nepal, ie  Chitwan, Makawanpur, Gorkha and Dhading districts. They are known one of the most isolated tribal groups from Nepal.

Chepang hill trek is a very popular and unique. The ethnic cultures of Nepal can be closely observed. Five day Trek is not only going through the Mahabarata range but also knowing the best geography in world- the close connection between hills and plains. A newly developed trekking trail across the Mahabharata range starts from Shaktikhor and ends at Hugdi. This trail offers spectacular view of the mountains, magnificent sunrise and sunset: A rare combination of culture and sightseeing experience. You will be able to see the range of Himalayan peaks, Rowling, Dorche Lakpa, Gaurishankar, Lang tang, Manaslu Range, Himalchuli, Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri etc. Chepang still lead the primitive lifestyle such as haunting, foraging for wild roots, fishing and traditional farming near jungles.


Observation Tower

An observation tower is basically used to view events from a long distance and to have a full 360 degree range of vision by the National Guards. The most comprehensive and impressive view of the Chitwan National Park can be seen from the deck of the Observation Tower. The tower allows you to look directly out into the dense jungle and amazing view of the wildlife. The Observation Tower is opened all year round.  We offer spending a night on a tower inside the jungle. One can easily and silently get along with the wild animals and their night activities.

Tharu Cultural Tour and Dance  


Tharu is the historical and prominent indigenous community of Chitwan and believed the aboriginal tribe of the Terai. Their traditional life style as well as unique civilization process will get us back to the primitive age. Our tour guide will help you to meet the indigenous people and to experience the traditional way of living.  Ox-cart ride is one of the do it thing. Tharu folk dance performed by Tharu community is organized every evening.

Elephant Bath

Elephant bath gives you the opportunity to explore the nature. “Take a bath with The Elephants”. Sunny day is preferred by Elephants to take bath, thus on a sunny day the main attractions at the Rapti River will be swimming with the Elephants; where you can have a lot of fun watching the group of elephants having a splash together with us humans. Elephants are surprisingly good swimmers and water lovers. Elephants can use their trunks as a snorkel and hosepipe.

Bird Watching

Chitwan is the paradise for bird lovers, and is the home for more than 550 species of birds. Our specialist will help you to view and identify various birds such as Cormorants, Herons, Egrets, Storks, Cranes, Ducks, Falcons, Kestrel, Parakeets, Ibis, Kites, Woodpeckers, Hawks, Osprey, Cuckoos, Kingfishers, Swallows, Orioles, Drongos, Babblers and many others.

Elephant Breeding Center


Elephant breeding center is located on the edge of the National park owned and managed by the Nepal government. The baby Elephants closely observed. Their upbringing and their ancestry are learnt. Elephant breeding center is known as the center of excellence for training of elephant calves using traditional methods around the globe. Elephants are the most graceful and the largest mammal among terrestrial animals. In Asian cultures elephants are a symbol of wisdom and are best regarded for their memory and intelligence. The unique Centre was established in 1985 for the captive breeding of domesticated elephants trapping for domestication. The daily tours are operated throughout the year.

Deep Jungle Jeep Safari

Deep Jungle Jeep Safari is one of the fascinating safari tours by four-wheel drive jeep in the less disturbed areas of the park. It is an opportunity to view rare species, And one of the Best National Park experience. Our nature guide will accompany you for wildlife spotting. The Jeep goes deep inside the jungle via grasslands, riverside forest and Sal forest to Kasara (The National Park headquarter). Deep Jungle Jeep Safari is seasonally organized.
